Encouraging Scriptures (11 - 20)

#11

For all the promises of God in Him

are Yes, and in Him Amen,

to the glory of God through us.

2 Corinthians 1:20

#12

Now He who establishes us with you in Christ

and has anointed us is God,

who also has sealed us and given us

the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

2 Corinthians 1:21-22

#13

And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read

[it easily and quickly] as he hastens by.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come;

it will not be behindhand on its appointed day.

Habakkuk 2:2-3

#14

For whatever is born of God

overcomes the world.

And this is the victory

that has overcome the world —

even our faith.

1 John 5:4

#15

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper

in all things and be in health,

just as your soul prospers.

3 John 2

#16

Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord;

and I will cause thee to ride upon

the high places of the earth,

and feed thee with the heritage

of Jacob thy father;

for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

Isaiah 58:14

#17

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved; He that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is thy Keeper; the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil; He shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.

#18

And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths; for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Isaiah 2:2-3

Through faith also Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. Hebrews 11:11

#20

As it is written, I have made thee (Abraham) a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who quickens the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, so shall thy seed be.

And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.

And being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was able also to perform. And therefore, it was imputed to him for righteousness.

Romans 4:17-22
