Be Angry But Sin Not
Do you struggle with anger?
Anger is a natural emotion, and even God feels anger at times.
However, the Bible says to deal with that anger on the same day
that you get angry. Don’t let the sun go down on your anger. Don’t allow it to
fester and form into rage and bitterness and let it get out of control.
When you are angry, you can still talk in soft tones. A person
does not have to scream, yell, shout or have a temper tantrum or say cuss words.
Some people when they are angry say verbally abusive statements to
their spouse or children, or others.
Some take their anger out on their pets, and kick the dog.
Many who get full of rage cause domestic violence and strife in
the home, and also say a lot of mean things or insults.
The Bible says to be angry, but to sin not.
It is possible to experience the emotion of anger, but still
remain calm.
Child and wife abusers lose their temper over the slightest thing,
and always have a chip on their shoulder and a bad attitude.
They come home storming the place and being violent and beating
the children and his wife, and pets, and slapping her around and making
demands.
Domestic violence is one of the primary causes of divorce in marriages.
It also is destructive to the entire family. Sometimes the kids who were abused
become abusers themselves once they become an adult, because that was the only
thing modeled to them.
When a person loses their temper and goes into rages, it shows
that they need to learn wisdom. Those who are wise will control their temper
and not let it get out of hand.

angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.
