The Power of Forgiveness
If you don't forgive others of their sins, then God cannot forgive you of your sins.
Whosoever sins you remit, shall be remitted. That means that the individual/s you have offense with are bound in chains and incarcerated in prison because you refuse to forgive them.
This is not only figurative language, but if you have loved ones who are in Heaven now, but on earth you refused to forgive them, they might be incarcerated in prison right now because you never forgave them and remitted their sins.
Let's say that a spouse was an abuser and you never forgave them, and they died and went to Heaven. But then were incarcerated because you never forgave their sins, and are suffering in prison.
Folks, this is reality. Whosoever sins you remit, shall be remitted, unless you release them from their sins.
YOU will be held accountable if that person dies in their sins for refusing to forgive them.
When someone does something that hurts you, learn to forgive right then and there. Just release it and let it go and drop the matter. When you release a person who has offended you, then they can be set free.
When a person refuses to forgive, then the Lord turns them over to the torturers (demons). No one wants to experience that. It's hell on earth.
I plead with you and urge you to forgive anyone whom you have a grudge or ill will towards. That way you can be set free and the other person is also set free.
If you have bitterness in your heart, deal with it immediately, because a bitter root defiles many.
God bless you!
