Renown = Ezekiel 34:29 (Plant of Renown); Daniel 9:15. The Plant of Renown refers to the Messiah, who is also called “The Rod” (Isaiah 11:1), “The Stem of Jesse” (Isaiah 11:1), “The Branch” (Isaiah 11:1), “The Righteous Branch” (Jeremiah 23:5-6). Jesus is the Bread of Life who shall satisfy spiritual famine and drought.

 

Reproach of men = Psalms 22:6

 

Respect, honor, reverence, praise, worship, obedience and feeding His lambs is His greatest needs. It’s how He feels loved the most. This is His primary love language.

 

(To whom He said, This is the) rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing = Isaiah 28:12

 

Rest for the people of God (enter into this rest) = Hebrews 4

 

Rest for your soul = Matthew 11:28-29
