Mary anointed Jesus’ head and feet with a very expensive (a year’s worth of wages) alabaster jar of precious spikenard ointment [she poured out the entire jar of ointment], and lavished her love on Jesus. She wiped His feet with her tears and hair. She was criticized by the religious leaders for wasting the whole bottle of perfume, when she could have sold it and given the proceeds to the poor. Jesus defended her and said that she did the right thing, by anointing Him for His burial and her name would be remembered for all ages to come = Matthew 26:6-12

 

Master = Matthew 23:10; Mark 4:38, 5:35-36

 

Master of the House = Luke 13:25

 

Mediator between God and man = 1 Timothy 2:5. John 14:6 says that we have to go through Jesus to get to the Father. 2 Corinthians 5:19 says that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself.

 

Mediator of a better covenant (which is established upon better promises) = Hebrews 8:6

 

Mediator of a New Covenant = Hebrews 12:24

 

Mediator of a New Testament = Hebrews 9:15

 

Meek and lowly in heart = Matthew 11:29, 21:5

Melchizedek (a type of Christ) = Hebrews 7
