Was a man named Simon, a Cyrenian, carried His Cross for Him to Golgotha = Matthew 27:32; Luke 23:26

 

Was betrayed by Judas Iscariot for 30 pieces of silver = Matthew 26:25, 27:3; Mark 14:21,44; John 18:2-5

 

Was born in Bethlehem, Israel = Matthew 2:1; Luke 2:4,15; John 7:42

 

Was called to minister to the lost sheep of Israel = Matthew 15:24

 

Was crowned with a crown of sharp thorns = Matthew 27:29; Mark 15:17; John 19:2

 

Was crucified outside of Jerusalem, Israel = John 19:20

 

Was draped with a purple robe and mocked, “Hail Jesus, King of the Jews!” = Mark 15:17; John 19:5

 

Was exchanged for Barabbas who was a notable criminal = Matthew 27:16-31

 

Was in excruciating pain and agony as the Roman rusty one-inch wide nails were hammered into His hands and feet = John 20:25

 

Was in ministry for three years in the Galilee region of Israel = Luke 3:23

 

Was mocked and spit upon at His crucifixion = Matthew 26:67-68, 27:30; Mark 10:34, 14:65, 15:19

 

Was on the earth for forty days following His triumphant resurrection from the dead. He appeared to Peter, and the apostles, Mary Magdalene, and to more than 500 others. He ascended into Heaven accompanied by angels, from the Mount of Olives. When He returns to this earth, He will set foot on the Mount of Olives = John 20:17; Acts 1:3,9; 1 Corinthians 15:6

 

Was physically battered and beaten at Calvary = Matthew 26:67-68, 27:30; Mark 10:34, 14:65, 15:19

 

Was raised in Nazareth, Israel = Matthew 2:23; Mark 1:9; Luke 2:39

 

Was rich and became poor, so that through His poverty you may become rich = 2 Corinthians 8:9

 

Was scourged on His back with 39 lashes of a Roman whip which contained sharp bones, fragments and blades = Mark 10:34, 15:15; John 19:1; Isaiah 53:5

 

Was taken by His parents at the age of 2 to Egypt to escape the wrath and slaughter by King Herod = Matthew 2:13-18

 

Was taken by Joseph and Mary back to Israel after the death of Herod, and then they went back to their hometown in Nazareth and settled there = Matthew 2:19-23

 

Was treated like a hardened criminal at His crucifixion, like a lamb led to the slaughter, although He was innocent, harmless and blameless = Acts 8:32

 

Was visited by the wise men from the East who followed the Star until it settled over the house where Jesus was, and they bowed down to Him and worshipped Him and gave Him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Jesus was around two years of age by then, and his family was living in a house in Bethlehem. Being warned in a dream, the wise men never reported back to Herod and departed for their country by a different route = Matthew 2

 

Was water baptized by total immersion by His cousin John the Baptist in the River Jordan. When He came up out of the water, the Spirit of God alighted on Him as of a dove, and the Father spoke out of Heaven and said, “This is my Beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.” Then the Holy Spirit led Him into the wilderness for a 40 day fast in which He was tempted by the devil, but he overcame by speaking the Word of God, and Jesus was empowered to begin His public ministry = Matthew 3:13-17, 4:1-11; Mark 1:9-13

 

Washed us from our sins in His own Blood = Revelation 1:5

 

Water of Life = Revelation 21:6, 22:1,17

 

Way of Holiness = Isaiah 35:8

 

Way to the Father = John 14:6

 

Way, Truth, Life = John 14:6

 

We are complete in Him = Colossians 2:10

 

We are made the righteousness of God in Him = 2 Corinthians 5:21

 

We Dwell in Him, and He dwells in us through His Holy Spirit = 1 John 4:13

 

We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the Throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man = Hebrews 8:1-2

 

We overcome the devil by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony = Revelation 12:11

 

We were created in the likeness of God (He is a Spirit Being and has a physical body like a human, He has two arms, two hands, ten fingers, two legs, two feet, ten toes, walks uprightly on two feet, sits in a chair or Throne, has a mind, will and emotions, can speak, has eyes and ears, breathes out of a nose, has sandy brown shoulder length hair, eats and drinks, sleeps at least some part of the time, He labors but then rests, He smiles, talks, laughs, sings, He has all the same emotions we do, He lives forever).

 

Wedding Garment = Matthew 22:12

 

Well of living water that springs up to everlasting life = John 4:10-14, 7:38-39

 

Well of living waters = Song of Solomon 4:15

 

Well of Salvation = Isaiah 12:3

 

Went about doing good, and healing all who were oppressed of the devil, for God was with Him = Acts 10:38

 

Went to hell and disarmed and spoiled the principalities and powers, openly making a public spectacle out of them = Colossians 2:15

 

Went to hell for us so that we don’t ever have to go there = Revelation 1:18

 

When a man's ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him = Proverbs 16:7

 

When Jesus gave up the Ghost and died on the Cross, at that same moment the Veil in the Temple was torn in two, signifying that the way to the Holy of Holies is now accessible to those who believe on Jesus’ Name. We can now have access to the Father through the body (flesh corresponding to the Veil) of Jesus Christ = Matthew 27:51; Mark 15:38; Luke 23:45; Hebrews 10:20

 

When they (wise men) saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy = Matthew 2:10

 

When we see Him, we shall be like Him = 1 John 3:2

 

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises; that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust = 2 Peter 1:4

 

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the Cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the Throne of God = Hebrews 12:1-2

 

Which is, and which was, and which is to come = Revelation 1:8, 4:8

 

Which is His body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all = Ephesians 1:23

 

Which was, and is, and is to come = Revelation 1:8

 

Who covers Thyself with light, as with a garment = Psalms 104:2

 

Who crowns Thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies = Psalms 103:4

 

Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works = Titus 2:14

 

Who lives and was dead, and is alive forevermore = Revelation 1:18

 

Who redeems my life from destruction = Psalms 103:4

 

Who satisfies my mouth with good things so that my youth is restored like the eagles’ = Psalms 103:5

 

Who stretches out the Heavens like a curtain = Psalms 104:2

 

Wholeness and total recovery in Jesus Christ = Matthew 9:22, 12:13, 14:36, 15:28,31; Mark 2:17, 3:5, 5:28-34, 6:56, 10:52; Luke 5:31, 6:10, 7:10, 8:48,50, 17:19; John 5:6-15, 7:23; Acts 4:9-10, 9:34; 1 Thessalonians 5:23

 

Whosoever believes in Him (Jesus) shall not abide in darkness = John 12:46

 

Whosoever believes in Him (Jesus) shall not perish, but have everlasting life = John 3:15-16

 

Whosoever believes in Him (Jesus) shall receive remission of sins = Acts 10:43

 

Whosoever believes that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah) is born of God; and he who loves the Father (He who begat) also loves the Son (the one begotten) = 1 John 5:1. John 15:23 says, “He who hates Me (Jesus), hates My Father as well.” It is not possible to love one without loving the other, or rejecting one without rejecting the other (1 John 2:23). The Father and Son are one, eternally united (John 14:10-11). The Son issues out of the Father (John 1:18).

 

Whosoever confesses Me before men, him shall I confess before My Father = Matthew 10:32

 

Whosoever drinks of the water Jesus shall give him shall never thirst again. The water that Jesus gives shall be as a well of water springing up unto everlasting life. The well of springing water is speaking of salvation (Isaiah 12:3) and the Holy Spirit (John 7:37-39). The water is not literal, but figurative.

 

Whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved = Acts 2:21; Romans 10:13.

 

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in him and he in God = 1 John 4:15

 

Whosoever will, let him take the Water of Life freely … and the Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come’ … he who is thirsty, ‘Come’ = Revelation 22:17

 

Will reign in Jerusalem, Israel for 1000 years, and the devil will be bound, and there will be worldwide peace, and people will have a lifespan of hundreds of years. If someone dies at the age of 100, they are considered but a youth. The lion and the lamb will live in peace and harmony with each other.

 

Wine represents His Blood that was shed for us = 1 Corinthians 11:25

 

Wisdom = Proverbs 8; Matthew 13:54-55; Luke 2:39-40,52; 1 Corinthians 1:24,30; Colossians 2:2,3

 

Wisdom Personified = Proverbs 8; Colossians 2:2,3

 

Wise God our Savior = Jude 25

 

Wise Master Builder = 1 Corinthians 3:10-11

 

With great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus; and great grace was upon them all = Acts 4:33

 

With you always = Deuteronomy 31:6; Joshua 1:5; 1 Chronicles 28:20; Matthew 28:20; Hebrews 13:5. Jesus will never leave you, nor forsake you, nor fail you.

Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive all glory and honor and power and wisdom and dominion and blessing and strength and riches forever and ever = Revelation 4:11, 5:12

 

Worthy of more glory than Moses = Hebrews 3:3

 

Worthy to be praised = Psalms 18:3

 

Worthy to open and read the book (scroll) = Revelation 5:9

 

Wounded for our Transgressions = Isaiah 53:5
