Healing in the Bones

Healing in the Bones

Health of the Bones According to a Medical Perspective:

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bone, “bones are rigid organs that form part of the endoskeleton of vertebrates. They function to move, support, and protect the various organs of the body, produce red and white blood cells and store minerals.

Bone tissue is a type of dense connective tissue. Because bones come in a variety of shapes and have a complex internal and external structure they are lightweight, yet strong and hard, in addition to fulfilling their many other functions.

The types of bone tissue that makes up bone include:

1.        The mineralized osseous tissue, that gives it rigidity and a honeycomb-like three-dimensional internal structure.

2.        Marrow

3.        Endosteum

4.        Periosteum

5.        Nerves

6.        Blood Vessels

7.        Cartilage

Bones have eleven main functions:

1.        Protection — Bones can serve to protect internal organs.

2.        Shape — Bones provide a frame to keep the body supported.

3.        Movement — Bones, skeletal muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints function together to generate mobility.

4.        Sound transduction — Bones are important in the mechanical aspect of overshadowed hearing.

5.        Blood production — The marrow, located within the medullary cavity of long bones and interstices of cancellous bone, produces blood cells in a process called haematopoiesis.

6.        Mineral storage — Bones act as reserves of minerals important for the body, most notably calcium and phosphorus.

7.        Growth factor storage — Mineralized bone matrix stores important growth factors such as insulin-like growth factors, transforming growth factor, bone morphogenetic proteins and others.

8.        Fat Storage — The yellow bone marrow acts as a storage reserve of fatty acids.

9.        Acid-base balance — Bone buffers the blood against excessive pH changes by absorbing or releasing alkaline salts.

10.   Detoxification — Bone tissues can also store heavy metals and other foreign elements, removing them from the blood and reducing their effects on other tissues.

11.   Endocrine organ — Bone controls phosphate metabolism by releasing fibroblast growth factor – 23 (FGF-23), which acts on kidneys to reduce phosphate reabsorption.  Bone cells also release a hormone called osteocalcin, which contributes to the regulation of blood sugar (glucose) and fat storage.”

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bone_marrow, “bone marrow is the flexible tissue found in the hollow interior of bones. In adults, marrow in large bones produces new blood cells. It constitutes 4% of total body weight, i.e. approximately 2.6 kg (5.7 lbs.) in adults.

There are two types of bone marrow:

1.        red marrow (consisting mainly of hematopoietic) tissue

2.        yellow marrow (consisting mainly of fat cells). Red blood cells, platelets and most white blood cells arise in red marrow. Both types of bone marrow contain numerous blood vessels and capillaries.

Five Types of Stem Cells:

1.        Hematopoietic precursor cells: promyelocyte in the center, two metamyelocytes next to it and band cells from a bone marrow aspirate.

2.        Bone marrow contains three types of stem cells.

3.        Hematopoietic stem cells give rise to the three classes of blood cells that are found in the circulation: white blood cells (leukocytes), red blood cells (erythrocytes), and platelets (thrombocytes).

4.        Mesenchymal stem cells are found arrayed around the central sinus in the bone marrow. They have the capability to differentiate into osteoblasts, chondrocytes, myocytes, and many other types of cells. They also function as “gatekeeper” cells of the bone marrow.

5.        Endothelial stem cells.”

Spiritual Significance of the Health of the Bones:

In the Bible, especially among the Hebrews, bones and marrow had much spiritual significance. According to the Nelson’s Illustrated Bible Dictionary, the bones of Joseph were revered by the Israelites (Exodus 13:19).

In the prophet Ezekiel's vision of the valley of dry bones (Ezekiel 37:1-14), the dry bones express utter helplessness and hopelessness.  The dead bones came to life, showing that the nation of Israel would be restored after their 70 years of captivity in Babylon.

The Fausset’s Bible Dictionary says the following about the bones:

The framework of the body; so the breaking of them expresses overwhelming sorrow, which prostrates body and mind (Isaiah 38:13).

As the surgeon must sometimes break a bone to save a patient of lameness for life, so God breaks that He may heal. Self-will and self-righteousness must be broken, that we may run the way of God's commandments. When one has a “broken and contrite heart,” “the bones which God has broken rejoice” (Psalms 51:8,17). Not a bone of Jesus was broken, as antitype of the paschal lamb (Exodus 12:46; John 19:33,36).

The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia states the following about the bones:

“Bony frame,” “body,” “strength,” Psalms 35:10; “the whole man”; Luke 24:39, “flesh and bones” = the solid and tangible framework of the body; figuratively the substance).  Figurative: Very often we find the use of these words in metaphorical phrases, in which a disease or a discomfort of the body denotes certain emotions or mental attitudes. Thus the expression “rottenness of the bones” (Proverbs 12:4; 14:30) signifies the feelings of a man whose wife causes him shame and confusion, or is equivalent to “envy” and “jealousy.”  The same phrase is used in Habakkuk 3:16 for utter dejectedness through the anticipation of approaching evil.

Similarly the “shaking of the bones” (Job 4:14) is expressive of fear, and denotes dejection and sadness in Jeremiah 23:9. The “burning of the bones” is found as a symptom of Job's disease (Job 30:30), and stands for grief, depression of spirit in Psalms 102:3 and Lamentations 1:13, and also for the feeling of Jeremiah, when he attempted to hold back the Divine message (Jeremiah 20:9), while “dryness of bones” (Proverbs 17:22) is the opposite of “good health.”

Other similar expressions of mental distress are the “piercing of the bones” (Job 30:17), the bones are “troubled” (Psalms 6:2), “out of joint” (Psalms 22:14), “consumed” (Psalms 31:10 the King James Version), “wasted away” or “waxed old” (Psalms 32:3), “broken” (Psalms 51:8; Lamentations 3:4), “ill at rest” (Psalms 38:3).

“Bone of my bones, flesh of my flesh” (Genesis 2:23), means having the same nature, and the nearest relation (2 Samuel 5:1) and affection (Ephesians 5:30).

The Bible also refers to the marrow in the bones quite frequently, and is usually used figuratively.  The Nelson's Illustrated Bible Dictionary defines marrow as the soft tissue inside the hollow cavities of bones. The Nelson’s goes on to say “The Bible uses the word marrow figuratively.  “Moist marrow” means good health and physical comfort (Job 21:24). To eat marrow refers to eating the choicest of foods (Isaiah 25:6).

To fear the Lord and depart from evil is marrow (refreshment, medicine, strength) to one's bones (Proverbs 3:8). The Word of God divides the “joints and marrow” (Hebrews 4:12), symbolizing the power of the Bible to penetrate to the inner depths of a person's thoughts and motives.

McClintock and Strong Encyclopedia says the following about marrow:

mo'ach, fatness, Job 21:24; kindred is the verb machah', Isaiah 25:6, “fatness unmarrowed,” i.e. drawn out from the marrow-bones, and therefore the most delicate; Hebrews 4:12), the soft, oleaginous substance contained in the hollow of the bones of animals (Job 21:23); used figuratively for the delicate and most satisfying provisions of the Gospel (Isaiah 25:6), and likewise in the New Testament for the most secret thoughts of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). Other terms so rendered are (che'leb, Psalms 63:5, fat or fatness, as elsewhere rendered) and (shikku'y, Proverbs 3:8, a moistening, i.e. refreshing of the bones; or “drink,” as in Hosea 2:5).

Marrow is the nourisher and strengthener of the bones; it is said to moisten the bones: “The marrow (moach) of his bones is moistened” (Job 21:24).

The fear of Jehovah “will be health to thy navel, and marrow (shiqquy, margin “refreshing, Hebrew moistening”) to thy bones” (Proverbs 3:8). Thus, the expression is used figuratively of the things which alone can satisfy the soul: “My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow (chelebh, “fat”) and fatness” (Psalms 63:5); “In this mountain will LORD of hosts make unto all peoples a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow (memuchayim, particle, plural, Pual of machah), of wines on the lees well refined” (Isaiah 25:6).

In the Epistle to the Hebrews the writer speaks of the Word of God, which is “living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow” (Hebrews 4:12).

Old Testament Words for “Marrow”:

OT:8250 shiqquwy (shik-koo'-ee); from OT:8248; a beverage; moisture, i.e. (figuratively) refreshment.

OT:8248 shaqah (shaw-kaw'); a primitive root; to quaff, i.e. (causatively) to irrigate or furnish a potion to.

What the Bible Has To Say About Healing in the Bones and Marrow:

1.        The fear (reverence of the Lord) is health to the nerves, navel, sinews, marrow and bones.

2.        A broken heart and deferred hope dries up the bones

3.        Unconfessed sin dries up the bones.  Confession and repentance of sin restores life back into the bones

4.        Praising God and trusting in the Lord is strength to the bones

5.        Good news and pleasant words are life to the bones

6.        Restoration, joy, blessings of the Lord, and longings fulfilled are nourishment to the bones

7.        A merry heart is medicine to the bones and the whole body

8.        Bad character is like rottenness in the bones

9.        The Word of God is a two-edged sword, even dividing the joints from the marrow

10.   The Holy Spirit breathes life into those dry bones so that they may live

11.   The fire of God in our bones

12.   Anointing power virtue stored in the bones

13.   Pain and aching in the bones at night

14.   Marrow moistening the bones

15.   Burning Sensation in the bones (negative kind of burning)

16.   Bones being out of joint

In this study, we will focus on the first point, which is fearing (reverencing) the Lord.

Proverbs 3:5-8  KJV

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

I like how the Amplified words this passage, especially Verse 8. Notice it talks about healing to the nerves, as well as to the bones.

Proverbs 3:5-8  AMP

5 Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.

6 In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

7 Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil.  [Proverbs 8:13.]

8 It shall be health to your nerves and sinews, and marrow and moistening to your bones.

The primary Hebrew word for “fear” (as it relates to revering the Lord) is the word yare’.

The Vine's Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words defines yare’ as:

Yare connotes standing in awe. This is not simple fear, but reverence, whereby an individual recognizes the power and position of the individual revered and renders him proper respect. In this sense, the word may imply submission to a proper ethical relationship to God; the angel of the Lord told Abraham: “I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me” Genesis 22:12.

The verb can be used absolutely to refer to the heavenly and holy attributes of something or someone. So Jacob said of Bethel: “How [awesome] is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven” Genesis 28:17. The people who were delivered from Egypt saw God's great power, “feared the Lord, and believed the Lord, and his servant Moses” Exodus 14:31.

There is more involved here than mere psychological fear. The people also showed proper “honor” (“reverence”) for God and “stood in awe” of Him and of His servant, as their song demonstrates in Exodus 15.

After experiencing the thunder, lightning flashes, sound of the trumpet, and smoking mountain, they were “afraid” and drew back; but Moses told them not to be afraid, “for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not” Exodus 20:20. In this passage, the word represents fear or dread of the Lord. This sense is also found when God says, “fear not” Genesis 15:1.

When we fear God, things will go well for us and we will see and enjoy many good days upon the earth.

In the Unger's Bible Dictionary, the fear of the Lord is defined as:

“This kind of fear has its spring in love, and prompts to care not to offend God and to endeavor in all things to please Him. It has virtues of godly character. It is produced by the Holy Spirit, and great blessing is pronounced upon those who possess this Christian trait. This kind of fear dreads God's displeasure, desires His favor, reveres His Holiness, willingly submits to His will, is grateful for His benefits, sincerely worships Him, and conscientiously obeys His commandments.”

God tells us in His Word that fearing the Lord prevents sickness and promises healing. Proverbs 3:7-8 says, “Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.”

The fear of the Lord prolongs our life. Proverbs 10:27 says, “The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.”

Fearing the Lord does not mean that you have to be frightened by God's Presence (with the thinking that God is mean and harsh, ready to strike you if you make a mistake). The Lord is very tender, gracious and kind. He is more loving and gentle than a mother who has compassion for her nursing child.

I wanted to clarify the meaning of the “fear of the Lord”, because many people have a wrong view of Father God. Many see God as being an angry dictator, ready to punish them for the least little thing. This kind of thinking creates a distance between them and God, as well as a lack of complete trust in God. They live under a dark cloud of guilt and condemnation (except that the condemnation is both self-inflicted and devil-influenced). Or in other words, they believe the deception of the enemy who tries to make them believe that God is cruel.

A distorted view of the Father could occur because of an upbringing in a legalistic religious atmosphere, or if they were fatherless or their father (and/or other male authority figures) were abusive. God is not like man. Often times, His reputation gets marred when people try to compare Him to their earthly relationships. God is a loving Father, and He wants the best for us.

Jesus, who is God, walked in the fear of the Lord toward His Father (reverencing Him, obeying what the Father said, showing Him honor and respect, in awe of God, loving Him, and wanting to please His Father in every way).

Isaiah 11:1-3 is a Messianic prophecy that speaks of Jesus. It says, “And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots. And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him (Jesus), the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD. And shall make Him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD.”

Jesus is our example of how to fear Father God.

HEALING PROMISES TO THOSE WHO FEAR THE LORD

God promises in His Word healing and health to those who fear Him.

Malachi 4:2 states: “But to you who fear My Name, the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings (“wings” being defined as the hem of the garment, edge of the cloak).”

Proverbs 3:7-8 says, “Do not be wise in your own eyes. Fear the LORD and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones.”

Proverbs 14:27 tells us that the fear of the LORD is a fountain of life.

Prolonged years is promised to those who fear the Lord. Proverbs 10:27 says, “The fear of the LORD prolongs days” (xref Deuteronomy 6:2).

Proverbs 9:10-11 tells us that the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the Holy is understanding. For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.

Proverbs 19:23 declares that the fear of the LORD tendeth to life. And he that hath it shall abide satisfied. He shall not be visited with evil.

What the Bible Has To Say About Healing in the Bones and Marrow:

1.        The fear (reverence of the Lord) is health to the nerves, navel, sinews, marrow and bones.

13.   Pain and aching in the bones at night

14.   Morrow moistening the bones

15.   Burning sensation in the bones (negative kind of burning)

16.   Bones being out of joint

A broken heart, sorrow and deferred hope (and hopelessness) dries up the bones:

Proverbs 17:22  KJV

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Proverbs 13:12  AMP

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life.

Psalms 6:2-3  AMP

2 Have mercy on me and be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am weak (faint and withered away); O Lord, heal me, for my bones are troubled (KJV says “vexed in the bones”; NLT says “agony in the bones”).

3 My [inner] self [as well as my body] is also exceedingly disturbed and troubled. But You, O Lord, how long [until You return and speak peace to me]?

Psalms 6:2-4  TLB

2 Pity me, O Lord, for I am weak. Heal me, for my body is sick,

3 and I am upset and disturbed. My mind is filled with apprehension and with gloom. Oh, restore me soon.

4 Come, O Lord, and make me well. In your kindness save me.

Psalms 22:14-15  NLT

14 My life is poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart is like wax, melting within me.

15 My strength has dried up like sunbaked clay.

Psalms 102:5  AMP

By reason of my loud groaning [from suffering and trouble] my flesh cleaves to my bones.

Unconfessed sin dries up the bones.  Confession and repentance of sin restores life back to the bones:

Job 20:11

His bones are full of the sin of his youth, which shall lie down with him in the dust.

Psalms 31:10  AMP

For my life is spent with sorrow and my years with sighing; my strength has failed because of my iniquity, and even my bones have wasted away.

Psalms 32:3-4  AMP

3 When I kept silence [before I confessed], my bones wasted away through my groaning all the day long.

4 For day and night Your hand [of displeasure] was heavy upon me; my moisture was turned into the drought of summer. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

Psalms 38:3  AMP

There is no soundness in my flesh because of Your indignation; neither is there any health or rest in my bones because of my sin.

Psalms 51:8-10  AMP

8 Make me to hear joy and gladness and be satisfied; let the bones which You have broken rejoice.

9 Hide Your face from my sins and blot out all my guilt and iniquities.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me.

Praising God and trusting in the Lord is strength to the bones:

Isaiah 58:11 NIV   The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame (other translations say “bones”). You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

Psalms 63:5  KJV

My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips.

Good news and pleasant words are life to the bones:

Proverbs 15:30  AMP

The light in the eyes [of him whose heart is joyful] rejoices the hearts of others, and good news nourishes the bones.

Proverbs 16:24  NKJV

Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.

Restoration, joy, blessings of the Lord, and longings fulfilled are nourishment to the bones:

Isaiah 25:6  NASU

The Lord of hosts will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain; A banquet of aged wine, choice pieces with marrow, and refined, aged wine.

Isaiah 66:13-14  KJV

13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

14 And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the Lord shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

Proverbs 13:12  AMP

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life.

A merry heart is medicine to the bones and the whole body:

Proverbs 17:22  KJV

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Bad Character is Like Rottenness in the Bones:

Proverbs 12:4  AMP

A virtuous and worthy wife [earnest and strong in character] is a crowning joy to her husband, but she who makes him ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.

Proverbs 14:30  AMP

A calm and undisturbed mind and heart are the life and health of the body, but envy, jealousy, and wrath are like rottenness of the bones.

The Word of God is a two-edged sword, even dividing the joints from the marrow:

Hebrews 4:12  AMP

For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

The Holy Spirit breathes life into those dry bones so that they may live:

It’s only by the Spirit of the Lord that the wilderness is transformed into an Eden (Isaiah 51:3).  The Lord will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys.  He will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water (Isaiah 41:18).  Also see Isaiah 35.

Ezekiel 37:1-10

1  The hand of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones.

2 He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry.

3 He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “O Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”

4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!

5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.

6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone.

8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.

9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’”

10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet — a vast army.

11 Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’

12 Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: O my people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel.

13 Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them.

14 I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.”

The fire of God in our bones:

The fire speaks of the Shekinah, the Spirit of God, the anointing and presence of the Lord burning in our bones.  He burns in us and through us, hopefully, setting others ablaze as well.  The fire speaks of passion, love, fervency for the Lord.

It also denotes consecration, purification and sanctification of the refining fire of the Lord removing the dross and purifying us like gold.

Malachi 3:2-4 (KJV) says,

2 “But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:

3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.

4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years.”

In Jeremiah’s case, he was called as a prophet to the nations.  The Word of the Lord was inside of him and burned in his bones.  To not proclaim the Word was like fire shut up in his bones, and he could not contain it. He just had to declare the Word regardless of the response of the hearers.

Jeremiah 20:9  AMP

If I say, I will not make mention of [the Lord] or speak any more in His name, in my mind and heart it is as if there were a burning fire shut up in my bones. And I am weary of enduring and holding it in; I cannot [contain it any longer].

Anointing power virtue stored in the bones

2 Kings 13:21

And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.

Pain and aching in the bones at night

Job 30:17

My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest (KJV).

The Amplified Bible says it this way:

My bones are pierced [with aching] in the night season, and the pains that gnaw me take no rest.

The Living Bible says:

My weary nights are filled with pain as though something were relentlessly gnawing at my bones.

Morrow moistening the bones

Job 21:24

His breasts are full of milk, and his bones are moistened with marrow.

Burning sensation in the bones (negative kind of burning)

Job 30:30

My skin is black and dropping off me; and my bones are burning with the heat of my disease (BBE – Bible in Basic English).

My skin is black and peeling.  My bones burn with fever (TLB).

Bones being out of joint

I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint.  My heart is like wax; it is softened [with anguish] and melted down within me.  My strength is dried up like a fragment of clay pottery.  AMP

My strength has drained away like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart melts like wax; my strength has dried up like sun-baked clay. TLB

PRAYER:

Father God, breathe upon each and every person right now with the breath of Your Spirit. Transform their ruins and waste places into an Eden. Turn their wilderness into springs of water. Let them blossom in the desert like the rose, and come out of the wilderness leaning on their Beloved Jesus.

Where hope has been deferred, let the desire be fulfilled. May the joy of the Lord be our strength. May our bones come alive with hearing good news and seeing those promises come to pass in our lives.

I speak life to those dry bones in the Name of Jesus. Live! Those dry bones shall live and declare God's goodness in the land of the living. May the fire of God burn in those bones. I declare that passion be restored for God's presence.

I cancel every plan of the enemy over people's lives. And I decree life over people's physical health, life over their emotions, life over their mind, life over their soul, life over their family, life over their finances, life over their ministry. I speak life in Jesus' Name. Lush and green — is what I declare over you right now. May you flourish like the green tree planted by streams of water, always bearing fruit.

Be blessed and encouraged today.

It is God's will that no one should perish (end up in hell), but that ALL should come to repentance.

For God so loved this world that He gave His only begotton Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God did not send His Son into this world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him would be saved.

The thief (Satan the devil) comes only for to kill, steal and destroy. But Jesus has come to give us life, and life more abundantly, until it overflows.

I urge you to come to the Cross today and receive Jesus as your Savior and Lord. He will wash away all your sins and make you as clean and white as fresh snow.

Just pray this prayer and mean it with your heart:

Dear Lord Jesus (if you are not able to call him Lord yet, then just say "Jesus")

I receive You as my Savior and Lord. I give my life over to You. I believe that You died and rose again, and that if I call on the Name of the Lord I shall be saved.

I accept you into my heart right now, and confess that You are Lord and have risen from the dead and forever live to make intercession for me.

Thank You for washing my heart pure and clean and making me whole, and for giving me peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Thank You that now I am a new creature in Christ Jesus. The old has gone and the new has come.

And there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh (carnality and sin), but walk after the Spirit.  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

If you prayed this prayer, I believe you got born again and are now heaven bound and will be with the Lord forever and have eternal life. Your sins are now forgiven. You are accepted in the Beloved.

I would encourage you to find a good Bible based local church to help you grow in your faith, to learn the Word of God, to praise and worship Him, and to have fellowship with the saints.

Serving Christ is the best decision you will ever make.

God bless you!!!
