Wisdom - Everything the Bible Has to Say About It

Wisdom

Everything the Bible Has to Say About It

Wisdom Point #1:

Wisdom comes from God.

Proverbs 2:6 NKJV

For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

Wisdom Point #2:

Wisdom will bring stability to your life.

And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure = Isaiah 33:6

Wisdom Point #3:

Wisdom will promote you.

Exalt her (wisdom), and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honor, when thou dost embrace her = Proverbs 4:8 (xref Psalms 75:6-7; Daniel 3:30)

Wisdom Point #4:

Wisdom is vitally necessary to live in righteousness and to avoid unnecessary troubles.

Proverbs 2:7-22

7 He (God) stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly;

8 He guards the paths of justice, and preserves the way of His saints.

9 Then you will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path.

10 When wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul,

11 Discretion will preserve you; understanding will keep you.

12 To deliver you from the way of evil, from the man who speaks perverse things,

13 From those who leave the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness;

14 Who rejoice in doing evil, and delight in the perversity of the wicked;

15 Whose ways are crooked, and who are devious in their paths;

16 To deliver you from the immoral woman, from the seductress who flatters with her words,

17 Who forsakes the companion of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God.

18 For her house leads down to death, and her paths to the dead;

19 None who go to her return, nor do they regain the paths of life

20 So you may walk in the way of goodness, and keep to the paths of righteousness.

21 For the upright will dwell in the land, and the blameless will remain in it;

22 But the wicked will be cut off from the earth, and the unfaithful will be uprooted from it.

Wisdom Point #5:

In wisdom God created this world.

Proverbs 3:19-20 NKJV

19 The Lord by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens;

20 By His knowledge the depths were broken up, and clouds drop down the dew.

Jeremiah 10:12-13

12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

13 When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

Jeremiah 51:15

He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.

Wisdom Point #6:

Long life is in wisdom’s right hand, in her left hand are riches and honor.

Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honor = Proverbs 3:16

Wisdom Point #7:

Wisdom’s ways are pleasantness and all her paths are peace.

Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace = Proverbs 3:17

Wisdom Point #8:

Wisdom leads to healing and health.

Proverbs 3:5-9

5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

Proverbs 4:20-22 NKJV

20 My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.

21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart;

22 For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.

Proverbs 12:18

There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.

Proverbs 16:24

Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

Wisdom Point #9:

Jesus is wisdom personified.

Proverbs 8:22-36

22 “The Lord possessed me at the beginning of His way, before His works of old.

23 I have been established from everlasting, from the beginning, before there was ever an earth.

24 When there were no depths I was brought forth, when there were no fountains abounding with water.

25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills, I was brought forth;

26 While as yet He had not made the earth or the fields, or the primal dust of the world.

27 When He prepared the heavens, I was there, when He drew a circle on the face of the deep,

28 When He established the clouds above, when He strengthened the fountains of the deep,

29 When He assigned to the sea its limit, so that the waters would not transgress His command, when He marked out the foundations of the earth,

30 Then I was beside Him as a master craftsman; and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him,

31 Rejoicing in His inhabited world, and my delight was with the sons of men (angels).

32 “Now therefore, listen to me, my children, for blessed are those who keep my ways.

33 Hear instruction and be wise, and do not disdain it.

34 Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

35 For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord;

36 But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; all those who hate me love death.”

Wisdom Point #10:

The Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation comes from the Father

Ephesians 1:17-23 AMP

17 [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him,

18 By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones),

19 And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength,

20 Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places],

21 Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come.

22 And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church],  [Psalms 8:6.]

23 Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself].

Wisdom Point #11:

The Word of Wisdom is one of the Gifts of the Spirit mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NKJV

4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.

6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.

7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:

8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,

9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,

10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

Definition of the Word of Wisdom

Defined as: “The word” of wisdom from God concerning a particular situation, circumstance or subject.

It’s not just natural wisdom, but it is a directional word from God as to what to do in a specific matter.

The Word of Wisdom and Word of Knowledge often go hand in hand. They are dual gifts. Those who have the Gift of the Word of Wisdom usually also have the Gift of the Word of Knowledge.

Knowledge is a revelation of facts and information about a person or matter. Wisdom is knowledge in action. Wisdom is knowing what to do with that information. A Word of Wisdom tells one what to do in a given situation.

A good example of the Word of Wisdom and Word of Knowledge working together in action given by Jesus in His earthly ministry was in the account of the Samaritan woman at the well (John 4:6-30) who was an outcast. His Word of Knowledge was that she had had five husbands, and the man she was now living with was not her husband. His Word of Wisdom was that those who drank from Jacob’s well would thirst again, but the water He would give them they would never thirst again (the water speaking of the Holy Spirit).

Jesus also told her that God is a Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth. After Jesus had a Word of Knowledge about her life, He spoke with the Word of Wisdom and told her what she needed to do to find the love, satisfaction and wholeness in her life. She responded by going into the town and telling everyone that she met a man who told her everything she had ever done, and that He was the Christ. Everyone then came from the town to see Jesus.

There are five primary ways in which the Word of Wisdom is manifested:

1. By the Holy Spirit speaking within

2. As a revealed application of Scripture

3. By an audible voice or an angel

4. By dreams, visions and trances

5. By the unanimity of the Spirit among spiritual leaders

Wisdom Point #12:

Hebrew definitions of wise and wisdom.

“Wise” are the two primary Hebrew words:

chakam (Strong’s 2450), which is defined as: “wise, intelligent, skillful, artful”.

sakal (Strong’s 7919), which is defined as: “make or act circumspect and hence, intelligent; consider, expert, instruct, prosper, deal prudently, skillful, have good success, teach, have understanding, guide wittingly.”

“Wisdom” are the three primary Hebrew words:

chokmah (Strong’s 2451), which is defined as: “skillful, wit, wisdom.”

`ormah (Strong’s 6195), which is defined as: “discretion, prudence.”

tuwshiyah (Strong’s 8454), which is defined as: “from an unused root probably meaning to substantiate; support or (by implication) ability, i.e. (direct) help, (in purpose) an undertaking, (intellectual) understanding.”

Wisdom Point #13:

Greek definitions of wise and wisdom.

“Wise” is the primary Greek word:

phronimos (Strongs: NT:5429), which is defined as: “thoughtful, discreet, practical skill, insight, good judgment, expertise, intelligence, sharpness, discernment, shrewdness, perceptiveness, prudence, accuracy, level-headedness, understanding, knowledge, good sense, acumen.”

The only Greek word for “wisdom” is:

sophia (Strong’s: NT 4680), which is defined as: “wisdom (higher or lower, worldly or spiritual).

Wisdom Point #14:

Wisdom is Life, a Tree of Life, Fountain of Life and Wellspring of Life.

Proverbs 3:18 NKJV

She (wisdom) is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, and happy are all who retain her.

Proverbs 3:21-22 NKJV

21 My son, let them not depart from your eyes — keep sound wisdom and discretion;

22 So they will be life to your soul and grace to your neck.

Proverbs 4:20-22 NKJV

20 My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.

21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart;

22 For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.

Proverbs 8:35 NKJV

For whoever finds me (Wisdom) finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord.

Proverbs 11:30 NKJV

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.

Proverbs 13:14 NKJV

The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to turn one away from the snares of death.

Proverbs 15:4

A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

Proverbs 16:22

Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.

Wisdom Point #15:

Wisdom of this world vs. Wisdom of God

James 3:14-18

Wisdom of this world:

14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every demonic work.

Wisdom From Above:

·       Pure

·       Peaceable

·       Gentle

·       Easy to be intreated

·       Merciful

·       Good Fruits

·       Without partiality

·       Without hypocrisy

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Wisdom Point #18:

Wisdom involves having the reverential fear of the Lord. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Psalms 111:10; Job 28:28; Proverbs 2; Proverbs 9:10; Proverbs 15:33).

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 1:7).

The fear of the Lord is having a holy reverential esteem and awe for the Lord. It has its spring in love, and cares not to offend God. It has virtues of godly character, and is produced by the Holy Spirit. When you reverence the Lord, you will obey His commands and walk in His ways.

Fearing the Lord does not mean that you have to be afraid of Him, because He is very kind and gentle. To fear the Lord is to show Him the utmost respect, honor, reverence, awe and esteem. To fear the Lord is to obey His commands.

Fearing God involves more than just holy reverence. There is an element of experiencing the literal terror of the Lord, but it only happens once in a while if you’ve done something really bad. God usually reveals that side of Himself to those who are ministers or are mature believers who should know better than to do certain things.

Wisdom Point #19:

Wisdom is more valuable and precious than gold, rubies and treasures.

Proverbs 3:13-15

13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.

Proverbs 8:11

For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

Proverbs 16:16

How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!

Job 28:12-19

12 But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?

13 Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.

14 The depth saith, It is not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me.

15 It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.

16 It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.

17 The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.

18 No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies.

19 The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.

Wisdom Point #20:

He that gets wisdom loves his own soul.

The soul is the mind, will, emotions, traditions, and the eternal part of us. (The spirit and soul are intertwined, and are eternal.)

Proverbs 19:8

He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.

Wisdom Point #21:

Wisdom is the principal thing

Proverbs 4:7

Wisdom is the principal (main, major, primary, key, foremost, fundamental, head, leader) thing; therefore, get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

Wisdom Point #22:

How to get wisdom:

1.               Ask God for wisdom = James 1:5 (anyone can ask God for wisdom and God will not withhold it); 2 Chronicles 1:9-12 (Solomon asked for wisdom and God granted it)

2.               Be filled with the Holy Spirit = 1 Corinthians 12:8

3.               Walk in the fear of the Lord = Job 28:28; Psalms 111:10; Proverbs 1:7; Proverbs 2; Proverbs 9:10; Proverbs 15:33

4.               Obey God’s commands, especially walking in love (love is the root and the other things are the fruits) = Galations 5:22-23; James 3:13

5.               Study to show yourself approved unto God (study the Word of God) = 2 Timothy 2:15

6.               Research the facts before making decisions

7.               When you ask God for wisdom, do not doubt or waver. For he who doubts or wavers cannot expect to receive anything from the Lord, and he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways = James 1:5-8

Wisdom Point #25:

The virtuous woman is noted as a woman of wisdom and excellence.

Proverbs 31:10-31 NKJV

10 Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies.

11 The heart of her husband safely trusts her; so he will have no lack of gain.

12 She does him good and not evil all the days of her life.

13 She seeks wool and flax, and willingly works with her hands.

14 She is like the merchant ships, she brings her food from afar. 15 She also rises while it is yet night, and provides food for her household, and a portion for her maidservants.

16 She considers a field and buys it; from her profits she plants a vineyard.

17 She girds herself with strength, and strengthens her arms.

18 She perceives that her merchandise is good, and her lamp does not go out by night.

19 She stretches out her hands to the distaff, and her hand holds the spindle.

20 She extends her hand to the poor, yes, she reaches out her hands to the needy.

21 She is not afraid of snow for her household, for all her household is clothed with scarlet.

22 She makes tapestry for herself; her clothing is fine linen and purple.

23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sits among the elders of the land.

24 She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies sashes for the merchants.

25 Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come.

26 She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness.

27 She watches over the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness.

28 Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:

29 “Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all.”

30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.

31 Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Wisdom Point #26:

It is foolishness to refuse to work when you have the health and power to do so (if you have a physical or mental disability, that is one thing, but to refuse to work when you are strong and healthy is not wisdom, and it will lead to poverty and shame).

Proverbs 6:6-11

Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travaileth, and thy want as an armed man.

Proverbs 10:5

He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.

Proverbs 24:30-34

30 I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding;

31 And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down.

32 Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction.

33 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:

34 So shall thy poverty come as one that travaileth; and thy want as an armed man.

Wisdom Point #27:

The wise person accepts instruction, correction and chastening.

Proverbs 8:33

Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.

Proverbs 1:2-3

To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; to receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity.

Proverbs 1:7-9

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.

Proverbs 3:11-12

My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction. For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

Job 5:17

Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore, despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty.

Proverbs 22:15

Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be perfect (complete, mature, of full age), thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Hebrews 12:5-11

5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye illegitimate, and not sons.

9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless, afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

Proverbs 4:1

Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.

Proverbs 4:13

Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.

Proverbs 5:12-13

And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof; and have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!

Proverbs 6:23

For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life.

Proverbs 9:8-9

Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee. Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.

Proverbs 10:16-17

The labor of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin. He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.

Proverbs 12:1-2

Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish. A good man obtaineth favour of the Lord: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.

Proverbs 13:1

A wise son heareth his father's instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.

Proverbs 13:18

Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.

Proverbs 15:5

A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.

Proverbs 15:31-33 NKJV

The ear that hears the rebukes of life will abide among the wise. He who disdains instruction despises his own soul, but he who heeds rebuke gets understanding. The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility.

Proverbs 16:22

Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.

Proverbs 17:10 NKJV

Rebuke is more effective for a wise man than a hundred blows on a fool.

Proverbs 19:20

Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.

Proverbs 23:12-14 NKJV

Apply your heart to instruction, and your ears to words of knowledge. Do not withhold correction from a child, for if you beat him with a rod, he will not die. You shall beat him with a rod, and deliver his soul from hell.

Wisdom Point #28:

A person who has wisdom and understanding is a man or woman of an excellent spirit.

(Any man or woman who has wisdom and understanding)

Proverbs 17:27

He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.

(Daniel)

Daniel 5:12

Forasmuch as having an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.

Daniel 6:3

Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him.

(Proverbs 31 Virtuous Woman)

Has a spirit of wisdom and excellence (Proverbs 31:10-31)

Wisdom Point #29:

Wisdom of Solomon

1 Kings 4:29-34

And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore. And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt. For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about. And he spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five. And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes. And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.

2 Chronicles 1:9-12

“Now, O Lord God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude. Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?” And God said to Solomon, “Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king. Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.”

Wisdom Point #30:

Wisdom of Bezaleel and Aholiab who Fashioned the Ark of the Covenant, Mercy Seat, Altar of Incense, Altar of Sacrifice, Menorah, Table of Shewbread, Laver, Other Furnishings, Holy Utensils, Priestly Garments, Ephod, Holy Cloths, Veil, Anointing Oil and Sweet Incense in the Tabernacle of Moses

Exodus 28:1-4

And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons. And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty. And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron's garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office. And these are the garments which they shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.

Exodus 31:2-11

See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, to devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship. And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee: the Tabernacle of the congregation, and the Ark of the Testimony, and the Mercy Seat that is thereupon, and all the furniture of the tabernacle, and the table and his furniture, and the pure candlestick with all his furniture, and the altar of incense, and the altar of burnt offering with all his furniture, and the laver and his foot, and the cloths of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office, and the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded thee shall they do.

Wisdom Point #31:

Wisdom rested upon the women who spun the goat hair which was dyed in colors of blue, purple and scarlet to be used for making the Priestly garments, Veil and curtains in the Tabernacle of Moses. The wise hearted women also spun the fine linen for the Tabernacle curtains, Holy cloths and Priestly garments.

Exodus 35:25-26

And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen. And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats' hair [to be used for the Tabernacle of Moses].

Wisdom Point #32:

Deuteronomy 34:9-10

And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the Spirit of Wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses. And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face.

Wisdom Point #33:

Wisdom of Daniel, and his three friends Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego

Daniel 5:12 NKJV

Inasmuch as an excellent spirit, knowledge, understanding, interpreting dreams, solving riddles, and explaining enigmas were found in this Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar, now let Daniel be called, and he will give the interpretation.

Daniel 1:17-21 NKJV

As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. Now at the end of the days, when the king had said that they should be brought in, the chief of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar. Then the king interviewed them, and among them all none was found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah; therefore, they served before the king. And in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm.

Daniel 5:14

I have even heard of thee, that the spirit of the gods is in thee, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee.

Wisdom Point #34:

Parable of the Five Wise Virgins and Five Foolish Virgins

Matthew 25:1-13

Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them. But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

It is God's will that no one should perish (end up in hell), but that ALL should come to repentance.

For God so loved this world that He gave His only begotton Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God did not send His Son into this world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him would be saved.

The thief (Satan the devil) comes only for to kill, steal and destroy. But Jesus has come to give us life, and life more abundantly, until it overflows.

I urge you to come to the Cross today and receive Jesus as your Savior and Lord. He will wash away all your sins and make you as clean and white as fresh snow.

Just pray this prayer and mean it with your heart:

Dear Lord Jesus (if you are not able to call him Lord yet, then just say "Jesus")

I receive You as my Savior and Lord. I give my life over to You. I believe that You died and rose again, and that if I call on the Name of the Lord I shall be saved.

I accept you into my heart right now, and confess that You are Lord and have risen from the dead and forever live to make intercession for me.

Thank You for washing my heart pure and clean and making me whole, and for giving me peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Thank You that now I am a new creature in Christ Jesus. The old has gone and the new has come.

And there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh (carnality and sin), but walk after the Spirit.  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

If you prayed this prayer, I believe you got born again and are now heaven bound and will be with the Lord forever and have eternal life. Your sins are now forgiven. You are accepted in the Beloved.

I would encourage you to find a good Bible based local church to help you grow in your faith, to learn the Word of God, to praise and worship Him, and to have fellowship with the saints.

Serving Christ is the best decision you will ever make.

God bless you!!!
