Jesus is the Lion of
Judah
Jesus
was born and raised in the tribe of Israel called Judah. The lion is the symbol
of the tribe of Israel.
The
lion is known as being fierce in battle and overcoming their enemies. The lion
roars loud and destroys its prey. The lion is a conqueror.
The
lion is merciless and fearless and bold and will destroy its enemies.
Below
is an image of the encampment of the 12 tribes of Israel. There were three
tribes to the north, three tribes to the south, three tribes to the east and
three tribes to the west.
When
following Moses’ leadership in the wilderness, when it was time to proceed forward,
the tribe of Judah went first and were at the front of the procession.
Judah
always goes first. Judah means “praise”. When we are facing spiritual battles,
or battles in our health or finances or some other area of life, praise always
goes first.
Offering
up praise to the Lord during difficult times in our lives is the key to our
triumph and victory.
When
you offer up praise and thanksgiving, God steps into your situation and brings
you the victory. And He receives all of the glory and honor for delivering you
out of your affliction and for winning the battle.
In
the Bible it talks about a battle where the priests and musicians and singers
were marching into the enemy camp at the forefront of the battle.
The
priests and singers were not trained in warfare or using swords and other
weapons.
As
they began to sing and praise God, the Lord set up ambushments and suddenly
their enemies were terrorized and began to flee and they all were confused and
slaughtered each other. The entire army was annihilated.
Whatever
problems you are facing today in your life, the key to winning the battle and
having the victory is through praise, worship and thanksgiving.
There
is much power in praise. Offering up blessing and thanks to the Lord causes
situations to turn around for good and for you to come out victorious.
Begin
to dance in advance for receiving your miracle for whatever you are believing
God to do in your life and that of your loved ones.
Revelation
5:5-13
5 And one of the elders
saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Root of
David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
6 And I beheld, and, lo,
in the midst of the Throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the
elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes,
which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
7 And He came and took
the book out of the right hand of Him that sat upon the throne.
8 And when He had taken
the Book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb,
having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the
prayers of saints.
9 And they sung a new
song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the Book, and to open the seals thereof:
for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by Thy Blood out of every
kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.
10 And hast made us unto
our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
11 And I beheld, and I
heard the voice of many angels round about the Throne and the beasts and the
elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and
thousands of thousands.
12 Saying with a loud
voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and
wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.
13 And every creature
which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in
the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and
glory, and power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the Throne, and unto the Lamb
forever and ever.
Amen
and Amen!
Growing
up from a toddler to adulthood in the Assemblies of God church, we often would
sing the following victorious song:
The
Lion of Judah shall break every chain
And
give to us the victory again and again
The
Lion of Judah shall break every chain
And
give to us the victory, again and again!
If
chains and fetters need to be removed from your life, the Lord destroys every
fetter and sets the captives free. His Blood destroys every bondage in your
life and brings healing and wholeness.
Jesus
breaks every fetter.
Jesus
breaks every fetter.
Jesus
breaks every fetter.
And
He sets me free.
I
will shout “Hallelujah”
I
will shout “Hallelujah”
I
will shout “Hallelujah”
For
He sets me free!
Oh
victory in Jesus
My
Savior forever
He
sought me and He bought me
With
His redeeming Blood
He
loved me ere I knew Him
And
all my love is due Him
He
plunged me to victory
Beneath
the Cleansing Flood.
I
heard about a mansion
He has built for me in glory.
And I heard about the streets of gold
Beyond the crystal sea;
About the angels singing,
And the old redemption story,
And some sweet day I'll sing up there
The song of victory.
I
heard an old, old story,
How a Savior came from glory,
How He gave His life on Calvary
To save a wretch like me;
I heard about His groaning,
Of His precious Blood's atoning,
Then I repented of my sins
And won the victory.
I
heard about His healing,
Of His cleansing power revealing.
How He made the lame to walk again
And caused the blind to see;
And then I cried, “Dear Jesus,
Come and heal my broken spirit,”
And somehow Jesus came and brought
To me the victory.
Oh
victory in Jesus
My
Savior forever
He
sought me and He bought me
With
His redeeming Blood
He
loved me ere I knew Him
And
all my love is due Him
He
plunged me to victory
Beneath
the Cleansing Flood.
Prayer of
Salvation
It
is God's will that no one should perish (end up in hell), but that ALL should
come to repentance.
For God so loved this world that He gave His only begotton Son,
that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God did not send His Son into this world to condemn the world,
but that the world through Him would be saved.
The thief (Satan the devil) comes only for to kill, steal and
destroy. But Jesus has come to give us life, and life more abundantly, until it
overflows.
I urge you to come to the Cross today and receive Jesus as your
Savior and Lord. He will wash away all your sins and make you as clean and
white as fresh snow.
Please do not put it off for another time in the future. I urge
you to not delay. Come to the Lord today and give Him your heart and life. He
will save, and heal you and make you whole.
Please do not delay, because on this earth there are no
guarantees that a person will wake up in the morning. Also, you could be
driving on the highway and be involved in a major collision and be instantly
killed. You may be flying in a jet or aircraft and the plane crashes and
everybody is killed.
A person does not know the exact date that they will die. But
the fact is that every person will eventually taste of death (unless you are
translated to Heaven which is very rare and highly unlikely, although it could
happen for a few that is. it happened for Enoch, Elijah and
Elisha).
Come to the Cross today and do not delay. Time is of the
essence. If you should die not knowing Christ, then you would perish and end up
in hell. Eternity is a very long time. Do not play games with your salvation or
takes unnecessary risks.
Just pray this prayer and mean it with your heart:
Dear Lord Jesus,
I receive You as my Savior and Lord. I give my life over to You.
I believe that You died and rose again, and that if I call on the Name of the
Lord I shall be saved.
I accept you into my heart right now, and confess that You are
Lord and have risen from the dead and forever live to make intercession for
me.
Thank You for washing my heart pure and clean and making me
whole, and for giving me peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Thank You that now I am a new creature in Christ Jesus. The old
has gone and the new has come.
And there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the flesh (carnality and sin), but walk after the
Spirit. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
If you prayed this prayer, I believe you got born again and are
now heaven bound and will be with the Lord forever and have eternal life. Your
sins are now forgiven. You are accepted in the Beloved.
I would encourage you to find a good Bible based local church to
help you grow in your faith, to learn the Word of God, to praise and worship
Him, and to have fellowship with the saints.
Serving Christ is the best decision you will ever make.
Only Jesus can satisfy your soul, and only He can heal your
heart and make you whole.
He will give you peace you never knew, and sweet love and joy,
and Heaven too, for only Jesus can satisfy your soul.
God bless you!!!
