sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual
covenant.

Israel for ever: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the
seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
And
he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. Exodus
33:14

9 For ye are not as yet come to the rest and to
the inheritance, which the Lord your God giveth you.
10 But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the
land which the Lord your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest
from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;
11 Then there shall be a place which the Lord your
God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all
that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and
the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the
Lord:
12 And ye shall rejoice before the Lord your God,
ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your
maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no
part nor inheritance with you.

the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

your brethren, as he promised them: therefore now return ye, and get you unto
your tents, and unto the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of
the Lord gave you on the other side Jordan.
5 But take diligent heed to do the commandment
and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord
your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to
cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.

his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one

servant.
57 The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our
fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us:
Behold,
a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him
rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I
will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days. 1 Chronicles 22:9

not the Lord your God with you? and hath he not given you rest on every side?

subdued before the Lord, and before his people. 1 Chronicles 22:18
Therefore
he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and
towers, gates, and bars, while the land is yet before us; because we have
sought the Lord our God, we have sought him, and he hath given us rest on every
side. So they built and prospered. 2 Chronicles 14:7
Psalms

9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory
rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell;
neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
11 Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy
presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Psalms
37:7-11
7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him:
fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man
who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not
thyself in any wise to do evil.
9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that
wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.
10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall
not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall
delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him,
the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the
spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in
the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes,
neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor,
and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth
with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the
wicked.
5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his
loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
And
in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of
the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

Therefore
fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the Lord; neither be dismayed, O

and none shall make him afraid. Jeremiah 30:10
But
fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold,

afraid. Jeremiah 46:27

Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over

11:28-30
28
Come
unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Acts
2:26-28
26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue

neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life;
thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
Hebrews
3:8-12
8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation,
in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and
saw my works forty years.
10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation,
and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter
into my rest.)
12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of
you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Hebrews
3:18-19
18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter
into his rest, but to them that believed not?
19 So we see that they could not enter in because
of unbelief.
Hebrews
4
1
Let us
therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of
you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as
unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with
faith in them that heard it.
3 For we which have believed do enter into rest,
as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest:
although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh
day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter
into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must
enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of
unbelief:
7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in
David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his
voice, harden not your hearts.
8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he
not afterward have spoken of another day.
9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people
of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also
hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest,
lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
12 For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and
sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul
and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts
and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not
manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him
with whom we have to do.
14 Seeing then that we have a Great High Priest,
that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our
profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be
touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like
as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the Throne of
Grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Now
therefore arise, O Lord God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark of thy
strength. Let thy priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy
saints rejoice in goodness. 2 Chronicles 6:41
And
my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in
quiet resting places. Isaiah 32:18
Genesis
2:2-3
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which
he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had
made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified
it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and
made.
It
is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the
Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was
refreshed. Exodus 31:17
And
the Lord came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that
was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that,
when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease. Numbers
11:25
But
they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up
with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk,
and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
Wait
on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I
say, on the Lord. Psalms 27:14
Wait
on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land. Psalms
37:34
For
evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall
inherit the earth. Psalms 37:9
Wait
on the Lord, and he shall save thee. Proverbs 20:22
Lead
me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do
I wait all the day. Psalms 25:5
Let
integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee. Psalms 25:5
Because
of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defense. Psalms 59:9
My
soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. Psalms 62:5
Psalms
130:5-7
5 I wait for the Lord, my
soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
6 My soul waiteth for the
Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that
watch for the morning.
7 Let Israel hope in the
Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
Psalms
145:15-20
15 The eyes of all wait
upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.
16 Thou openest thine
hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
17 The Lord is righteous
in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
18 The Lord is nigh unto
all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
19 He will fulfil the
desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
20 The Lord preserveth all
them that love him:
The
Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is
good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the
Lord. Lamentations 3:25-26
Therefore
turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment, and wait on thy God continually.
Hosea 12:6
Therefore
I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will
hear me. Micah 7:7
For
the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not
lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not
tarry. Habakkuk 2:3
For God so loved this world that He gave His only begotton Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God did not send His Son into this world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him would be saved.
The thief (Satan the devil) comes only for to kill, steal and destroy. But Jesus has come to give us life, and life more abundantly, until it overflows.
I urge you to come to the Cross today and receive Jesus as your Savior and Lord. He will wash away all your sins and make you as clean and white as fresh snow.
Just pray this prayer and mean it with your heart:
Dear Lord Jesus (if you are not able to call him Lord yet, then just say "Jesus")
I receive You as my Savior and Lord. I give my life over to You. I believe that You died and rose again, and that if I call on the Name of the Lord I shall be saved.
I accept you into my heart right now, and confess that You are Lord and have risen from the dead and forever live to make intercession for me.
Thank You for washing my heart pure and clean and making me whole, and for giving me peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Thank You that now I am a new creature in Christ Jesus. The old has gone and the new has come.
And there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh (carnality and sin), but walk after the Spirit. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
If you prayed this prayer, I believe you got born again and are now heaven bound and will be with the Lord forever and have eternal life. Your sins are now forgiven. You are accepted in the Beloved.
I would encourage you to find a good Bible based local church to help you grow in your faith, to learn the Word of God, to praise and worship Him, and to have fellowship with the saints.
Serving Christ is the best decision you will ever make.
God bless you!!!
