The Walls are Tumbling Down!

The Walls are Tumbling Down!

Written July 12, 2004

The walls are tum--bl--ing down!

The walls are tum--bl--ing down!

The walls, The walls

The walls are tum--bl--ing down!

(A prophetic song the Lord sang through a woman of God ... a fellow student at Shiloh Bible College ... a few months ago in class.)

_________

Joshua 6:1-5

1 Now Jericho was tightly shut because of the sons of Israel; no one went out and no one came in.

2 The LORD said to Joshua, “See, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and the valiant warriors.

3 You shall march around the city, all the men of war circling the city once. You shall do so for six days.

4 Also seven priests shall carry seven trumpets of rams' horns before the Ark; then on the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets.

5 It shall be that when they make a long blast with the rams' horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city will fall down flat, and the people will go up every man straight forward.”

Walls are obstacles or enemy fortresses that attempt to stand in your way of obtaining your promises. The walls seem so thick and impossible to penetrate through.

Other walls in our lives are self-constructed, placing a barrier between us and others. While the walls are intended for self-protection to keep us from getting hurt, the walls not only keep the bad ones out, but also keep the good people out too. And in reality, our hearts are not totally protected, as we may feel the pain of rejection and isolation being trapped behind those walls.

Another type of wall that mankind has created due to pride are divisions separating one group from another. Walls of racism and discrimination still exist within the Church. In Heaven, there will be saints from every nation, tribe and kindred worshiping together around the throne. The Blood of Jesus has made all Believers one in Christ. There are no economic divisions, denominational walls or walls of gender in God’s kingdom. We are all one in Christ Jesus.

I keep on hearing the phrase (from the above prophetic song) repeat over and over again in my spirit.

“The walls are tum--bl--ing down!” ----- the walls of fear, shame and rejection are coming down!

“The walls are tum--bl--ing down!” ----- the walls of doubt and unbelief are coming down!

“The walls, The walls, The walls are tum--bl--ing down!” ----- the walls of pride and division are crumbling to the ground!

“The walls are tum--bl--ing down!” ----- the walls of sickness and disease are crumbling!

“The walls are tum--bl--ing down!” ----- the walls of addictions, and bondages in the body, soul and mind are crumbling!

“The walls, The walls, The walls are tum--bl--ing down!” ----- the walls of enemy strongholds trying to hinder and stop us from receiving our promises are coming down, in Jesus' Name!

Walls in relationships are coming down!

Walls of human impossibilities, obstacles and difficulties are falling down, in Jesus' Name. With faith, nothing shall be impossible for you! “Is there anything too hard for Me, says the Lord?” (Jeremiah 32:27).

Walls of strife, hate and jealousies are coming down, in Jesus' Name.

__________

There is a time to be still before the Lord, like the children of Israel marched around Jericho for six days very quietly. Being still before the Lord opens are spiritual ears more clearly to hear His instructions. Our submission to God in quietness and stillness before His Presence, intimidates the enemy.

Then there comes the moment when the Lord gives the signal to raise your voice like that of the shofar, and shout to God because He has given you the victory! Give the shout and decree that the walls in your life are coming down! If you have a shofar, blow it as a prophetic gesture that the walls (obstacles, strongholds) in your life are tumbling down.

Isaiah 58:1a “Cry aloud, spare not. Lift up your voice like a trumpet.”

It is God's will that no one should perish (end up in hell), but that ALL should come to repentance.

For God so loved this world that He gave His only begotton Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God did not send His Son into this world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him would be saved.

The thief (Satan the devil) comes only for to kill, steal and destroy. But Jesus has come to give us life, and life more abundantly, until it overflows.

I urge you to come to the Cross today and receive Jesus as your Savior and Lord. He will wash away all your sins and make you as clean and white as fresh snow.

Just pray this prayer and mean it with your heart:

Dear Lord Jesus (if you are not able to call him Lord yet, then just say "Jesus")

I receive You as my Savior and Lord. I give my life over to You. I believe that You died and rose again, and that if I call on the Name of the Lord I shall be saved.

I accept you into my heart right now, and confess that You are Lord and have risen from the dead and forever live to make intercession for me.

Thank You for washing my heart pure and clean and making me whole, and for giving me peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Thank You that now I am a new creature in Christ Jesus. The old has gone and the new has come.

And there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh (carnality and sin), but walk after the Spirit.  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

If you prayed this prayer, I believe you got born again and are now heaven bound and will be with the Lord forever and have eternal life. Your sins are now forgiven. You are accepted in the Beloved.

I would encourage you to find a good Bible based local church to help you grow in your faith, to learn the Word of God, to praise and worship Him, and to have fellowship with the saints.

Serving Christ is the best decision you will ever make.

God bless you!!!
