#1 Faith … is the substance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1). Faith contains substance. Also, you have to first have hope before you can have faith.

 

#2 Faith … is the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). You have to first see it in the spirit realm before you see it in the natural realm.

 

#3 Without faith, it’s impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). Faith pleases God.

 

#4 To have faith, we must believe that God exists, and we must believe that He is a rewarder of them who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).

 

#5 Faith believes that God will fulfill the desires of those who diligently seek Him.

 

#6 Faith without works is dead (James 2:17,26). For faith to come alive you have to take action.

 

#7 Faith “speaks”. It has a voice. It calls forth and speaks of non-existent things, which God has promised, as if it were already in existence (Romans 4:17).
