Exceeding Faith Quotes
Chapter 2
#101 God
is not a respecter of persons, but is a respecter of faith. God honors the
level of your faith.
#102 FEAR
= False Evidence Appearing Real. Starve your fears and feed your faith.
#103 Faith
that cannot stand trial is faith that has no value. Faith can stand up without
buckling (1 Peter 1:7).
#104 Joshua was
approximately 78 and Caleb was 85 years old when they led the Children of
Israel into the promised land. They were the only two spies who had a
faith-filled report 38 years earlier and who were permitted to enter into the
promised land. The other ten spies, and the first generation of Israelites, had
died out in the wilderness, due to their doubt, unbelief and murmuring. Joshua
and Caleb’s strength was not diminished. Their faith was still as strong as
ever.
#105 Fear is a dead end,
but faith always has a future. Joyce Meyer
#106 The
evidence of doubt can always be seen. It’s never a spiritual thing. Always
doubt your doubts. Dr. Jesse Duplantis

faith brought healing, miracles and broke down walls in the Old Testament, then
how much more will faith do under the New Covenant.

yield to strife, confusion, murmuring and complaining, as these are faith
killers.

hinders. We can’t be strong in faith and strong in power, and live in sin at
the same time.
#110 If
you hold on to unforgiveness, it will hinder your faith (Mark 11:22-26).
#111 If
it seems like your faith is not working, you need to evaluate what you’re
saying. Are you speaking doubt or the answer?
#112 When
you speak faith-filled words, faith takes hold of the answer, and
patience keeps the answer.
#113 Fight
the good fight of faith—don’t quit, lay down, give in, or give up.
#114 Do
not cast away your confidence when under pressure. Your confidence has great
recompense of reward (Hebrews 10:35).
#115 Hope
is focused on the future, whereas faith is right now. You need hope before you
can have faith.
#116 It’s
one thing to hope for the answer (hope is good), but another thing to believe
that you receive the answer right now.
#117 Faith
first believes that it receives (Mark 11:24), then speaks, then takes
appropriate action, then eventually the answer manifests.
#118 Talk
to your mountain (impossibility, difficult situation, problem) and tell it to
get out of your life (Mark 11:23).
#119 If
you do not doubt in your heart, but believe that those things you say will come
to pass, you shall have whatever you say (Mark 11:23).

doesn’t matter what others have said about you, but what matters is what you
say and what the Word says about you.

you in an atmosphere where you can hear God.

this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according
to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask,
we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. 1 John 5:14-15
#127 The good news of the
Gospel manifests the power of God when it is believed and acted upon.
#128 Therefore
I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive (take)
them, and you will have them. Mark 11:24
#129 The word “receive” in Mark 11:24, in the Greek, means “to take; to
claim; to seize; to lay hold of; to take what rightfully belongs to you.”
#130 When
you pray, take your answer. Then stand on the Word until the answer manifests.
Give God thanks and praise for the answer.
#131 You
have to be bold in your faith, because the devil comes to steal, kill and
destroy (John 10:10).
#132 How
do you get faith to be healed? You hear the Word of God concerning His will for
you to be healed. You receive and take it.
#133 How do you get faith for provision? You hear the Word of God
concerning His will for your finances. You take the promises.
#134 How do you get faith for any other thing? You hear the Word of God
concerning those things. You take the promises.
#135 Faith is active when you
walk in love.
#136 You
cannot mistreat people and have working faith.

from your mouth is what you truly believe with your heart.

obedient heart.
#140 Things don’t always
happen as quickly as we would like. We have need of patience, along with faith
(Hebrews 10:35-36).
#141 Everything works by faith. If you’re going to get
good things supernaturally, you’re going to have to have faith.
#142 You’re going to have to believe in the Word of
God and step out in faith in order to give God something to work with on your
behalf.
#143 Faith brings things into
materiality.
#144 Unbelief is the substance
of things you don’t want to happen.
Faith is the substance of things you do
want to see happen.
#145 God calls an unbelieving
heart evil (Hebrews 3:12). That’s how
serious unbelief is.
#146 The
older generation, except Joshua and Caleb, of the Children of Israel could not
possess their promised land because of unbelief.
#147 When you obey God and His
Word, you walk in The Blessing (Deuteronomy 28:1-14). Disobedience causes one

whole (Mark 5:25-29).
#155 Whatever you say consistently will come to pass, whether
good or bad. Life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21).
#156 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the
end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will
surely come, it will not tarry (it will not be late). Habakkuk 2:3
#157 Six “I”s of faith: 1) I believe 2) I will 3) I take it 4)

love (Galations 5:6 Amplified).

and earth. Faith connects Heaven with earth.

#174 The woman with the issue of blood came in the press. We
have to press in to receive our miracle or answer.
#175 The woman with the issue of blood did four things and
received her answer: 1) Before she got to Jesus, she already believed in her
heart that she had received her healing 2) She said within herself, “If I just
touch His clothes I shall be made whole” 3) She took action, and pressed
through the crowds to get to Jesus, and she touched the hem of His garment 4)
She testified about her miracle when Jesus asked who touched Him.
#176 Jairus did four things and received his miracle. 1) He

to Jesus that if He came to his house, laid His hands on his daughter, that his
daughter would be healed and live 3) Jairus took action by seeking Jesus out
and imploring Jesus to come to his house 4) Jairus was a public figure, so his
daughter’s rising from the dead was a testimony to everyone in the area of the
power of God.

action, put into effect).
#183 We implement what we want to come to pass with
our words, backed up by faith.
#184 Our words reveal what is in our heart, whether good or
evil. Out of the abundance (overflow) of the heart the mouth speaks (Luke
6:44-45).
#185 It takes effort to speak in agreement with what the Word
says because we live in a negative world. It’s like swimming upstream.
#186 It’s possible to say the right things but have
doubt in your heart. Faith has to be in your heart, and if it is, then the
things coming out of your mouth will be faith-filled.

of a son for 25 years before it came to pass. God is faithful to fulfill His
promises.
#194 Faith hears the Word, acts on the Word, and holds fast to
the Word.
#195 Faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans
10:17). If you don’t know what God says about a matter, then you don’t have
faith for it.
#196 Faith must be based
on the known will of God … then you know what God is saying, you say what God
says, and then blessings come to pass.

have forbearance. It undergirds your faith, keeping you from fainting. Patience
